All my friends who have kids are all about the “Elves on the Shelf” every year now with their kids. It has really gotten out of hand to the point that I am really getting sick of hearing about all their exploits. So much so that I decided that our Pillow Pets are the Elves in our house and they do all the funny things that the other Elves do. Having Pillow Pets as Elves is a much better option that going out and buying an Elf on the Shelf in my humble opinion. First of all, you should already have a Pillow Pet to begin with so you don’t have to go out and spend more money. Secondly, Pillow Pets are widely known to be pranksters and probably would do a better job pulling little pranks on the kids and getting back to Santa versus things that Elves would do.
